Coro Innominata is a Sydney-based chamber choir promoting performing excellence, particularly in the area of sacred choral music.

Welcome to Coro Innominata’s 2009 concert series.  Our 2009 season presents a varied program encompassing six centuries of part-song, works for double choir and some classics of the choral/orchestral repertoire.

Three of the best writers of choral music, Purcell, Handel and Haydn, are celebrated with significant anniversaries in 2009, and each is featured during the year.

Concert 2 Sunday September 13
A Cry from the Heart
The voice is considered by many to be the most expressive of instruments, especially in a choral setting, and our second concert contains many works with the added richness of double choir settings, including anthems from the first of our anniversary composers, Henry Purcell.
